The location is unbeatable, with the beach just a short walk away and numerous bars, restaurants, and shops in close proximity. The house itself is full of character and the rooftop terrace is a great bonus. Moreover, the staff is helpful and informative, ensuring a pleasant stay.
Some areas of the property could use improvement, such as the mattresses with prominent springs and the shower that struggled to warm up properly.

This hidden gem, tucked away in the city center, offers a location that is just moments away from the beach and an array of bars, restaurants, and shops. The spacious rooms provide a cozy atmosphere, and some even come with a roof terrace, perfect for enjoying the surroundings. With the help of the friendly and informative staff, guests can fully explore the eclectic and warm style of the hotel.
The cleanliness of the property was not up to par upon arrival, requiring guests to do their own thorough cleaning.

The location couldn't have been better, just a short walk from the beach and surrounded by bustling bars, restaurants, and shops. the house itself was spacious, with a lovely roof terrace that was a great bonus for enjoying the views. the host was extremely helpful and friendly, providing clear instructions and even offering a secure car park nearby.
The cleanliness of the property was a letdown. the kitchen work surfaces were greasy, and we had to do our own cleaning upon arrival.

I keep coming back for a reason. At my first stay, the staff even helped me with a water bottle at night. This place suits me perfectly with free Wi-Fi, an electric kettle, cookware, flat-screen TV, a golf course. It’s my go-to for a romantic escape.

The rooms at Birch At Ship St Gardens are fantastic! They have a cozy seating area with a comfy sofa where I could relax and unwind after a long day. The fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher was a great bonus, making it easy for me to prepare my own meals and feel at home.
Personally, I found the blackout drapes/curtains in the rooms a bit too heavy and dark. But that's just my preference, and I'm sure many people would appreciate them for keeping the room nice and dark for a good night's sleep.

The decor of the hotel was absolutely charming, with cozy furnishings and beautiful artwork throughout. The common areas were well-maintained and provided a warm and inviting atmosphere for guests. As a senior woman, I found the hotel to be very accessible with easy-to-navigate hallways and elevators, making it convenient for me to move around without any difficulty.
I would have appreciated more assistance from the staff when it came to catering to the needs of senior guests. Perhaps having handrails in the bathrooms and bedrooms, or offering extra support in navigating the stairs would have made the vacation even more enjoyable for us seniors.

I chose this hotel for my business trip as it offered the independence I needed for attending consultations. The location was perfect, right in the center of Brighton, close to restaurants, pubs, and sightseeing spots. The beds were comfortable and the facilities provided everything I needed for a pleasant stay.
The only service I missed for my work was a dedicated workspace or desk in the room. It would have been convenient to have a designated area to set up my laptop and work comfortably.
